How can I learn French ?
I am a banker and i think learning the French language would be a value added for me. I don't have time to attend courses or lectures. I want something online, may be a site or something, or even a book. I don't want to be a French poet, just the sufficient to read, write, and understand.
I would use the book and cd course 'Teach Yourself French'. You can buy it on amazon quite cheaply and it's really effective - I used the same courses to learn French and Spanish, and I've picked up a really good level of both.
