Do musicians come up with their own guitar solos or something?
how do musicians come up with guitar solos (if they do)?
i mean, how do you know which notes to play? and how to make a guitar solo?
are there guitar solo notes, like the simple (chords that you must know)?

each song has the verse and chorus, which is played by not only the rythym guitar but also pianos...
when it comes to creating a lead run on the guitar, as a (solo), you must know the key the song is based upon. say the key of G.
then, you can run the lead not only within the key of G, but also the corresponding keys. then of course you have the beauty of the use of changing octives.
once you know your key and root notes, you can rock the same notes in at least 3 octives! i have done it forever. make it more fun, play the corresponding keys also. but first you need to learn some basic understanding of chords.
