Any player who knows his history on the guitar knows that pioneer Les Paul was developed with and approved by a famous pop jazz artist of the same name. Paul wanted a guitar to better serve the needs of jazz guitarists, which offers more resistance and keep the opinions to be empty Archtops norm in time and would be more versatile musically. Of course, these features are also suitable electric players in almost every other species, and Les Paul Goldtops in previous incarnations of the P-90 Pickups quickly found himself with a wide range of artists, the formation of the blue man John Lee Hooker and Freddie King, Rock'n'Roll Carl Perkins. Following the example of Paul, many jazz musicians taken too. Adept in the production of thick, warm tones, with his neck, in particular, although the project solidbodied, Les Paul turned out to be a natural choice for many large Jazzers. More surprising, perhaps, is the ease with which they adapted to the style of the country.
In the fifties and the early days of solid body electric guitar, the models are simple in design, price of just over a wooden floor with a minimum of clothing. The Les Paul Standard, Gibson moved to the aesthetic value of the guitar slim and stylish design works art. This move may seem odd, for fans of Gibson, widely regarded as a traditionalist in this area, but in retrospect, it was really radical extension of Orville Gibson's mandolin design in the 19th century. New member of the stable Gibson stated that he fell so completely that the two previous designs Orville good shape the rest of the herd.
Les Paul Standard has a body of solid mahogany top adorned with a carved maple. All Gibson Les Paul guitars have humbucker pickups, which vary depending on the model. Les Paul has not changed much since its introduction. There has been little humbucker bridge and updated but apart from these minor changes, it is still a guitar-defined generation of music, from rock, blues rock from the 60s south of the next decade.
When in the nineties rolled around, the sound signature Les Paul is found in almost any music. Les Paul was not the first solid electric guitar to hit the market. 60 years before Les Paul, the company founder Orville Gibson designed the arch top guitar. In 1936 Gibson ES 150 gave, The first standard electric guitar. When he arrived at the Les Paul design, the company poured in recent decades, the skills and crafts, and the result was guitar, which was a work of art itself.
In 1952 Gibson introduced the Les Paul Standard precursor, Goldtop with the famous P-90 pickups. Les Paul was higher arc placed in intricate mahogany body. It included a punch in the neck with adjustable truss rod, and a sound mind. Also were integrated into a worthy accoutrements that helped distinguish the leader of other electric guitars as a threshold for the board and raised pick guard.
