I want to teach in other EU countries?
I teach in Eastern Europe but I am from the USA. It has taken me 3 years to do the paperwork so I can offisially be a Docent at my university. Now the Dean has decided not to send in the paperwork for my Docent title. No idea why. She is a little nuts. I want to look in nearby countries for work. The process is very weird for me because I am from the USA. Can I use all the paperwork and get my Docent position at another EU country?
Unless their policies have changed you won't be able to teach high levels. You can teach Kindergarten, possibly some elementary school. You won't be able to teach English (unless you are one of the few Americans who speaks British English).
That having been said, there are American Schools and DOD (Dept. of Defense) schools that hire American teachers.
