There are many different types of guitars available on the market today, so one is right for you? First, you need to ask yourself a couple questions.
What music am I going to play?
If you're playing Rock, Country, Classical or Jazz .... Here's what you'll need to know ..
When you buy a guitar is very important to buy one made for your type of music. I've thrown the best guitars more suited to playing genre special music that you are interested in playing.
I believe it is important to buy a great guitar brands. For quality and resale value of the brand reputation is very important. These brands also great guitars that could be produced outside the U.S. for a much cheaper price that does not compromise quality.

Rock
You will need an electric guitar if your interest is in rock and roll. You will also need to buy an amplifier and distortion pedal (I will discuss this more in my other post). Here are best rock guitars to learn more: Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, or if you're playing METAL ... Ibáñez or Hamer.
Place
If you want to learn the state, then you can buy acoustic and electric guitar. For electric I would recommend a Fender Telecaster and an acoustic I would recommend a Martin.
Classical
To classical learning a completely different kind of guitar is required. This guitar has been chosen primarily with your fingers and contains individual nylon strings. Yamaha or Lucero are both great for beginners to learn the classics. Good classical guitars are expensive though.
Jazz
It is played mainly on an electric guitar. I suggest buying a Fender Jazzmaster with a quiet tone of a hollow or Gibson Les Paul. Les Paul has a very rich sound classy smooth.
Am I the type who gets bored or frustrated easily? ...
This will help you decide which type of guitar is best for you ...
For people do not have much patience ... You should get an electric. It is easier to press on the value and easy to play. However, a sound you can play anywhere and it will strengthen your hands so that when you play a power, it will looks like you've gone from two swinging a stick at! (A little baseball analogy for you)
