Stratocaster Deluxe
Should I bring my American Deluxe Stratocaster to college?
I'm going to college next year and I'm an avid guitarist. I'm afraid that my guitar is going to get stolen if I bring it with me. I've considered getting an Epiphone Dot to bring to college but my dad will think I'm crazy if I buy another guitar (I have three, 12 String, Strat, and an acoustic) , even with my own money.
Call me spoiled but the 12 string was a gift from my uncle. The acoustic was also a gift from my grand mother. And the Strat was something I payed for. I went broke after that.
For those who don't know guitar and still want to help me out: The American Deluxe Strat costed me 900 dollars. It was used and it costs 1500 dollars new. Great guitar.

Lol I play guitar for myself, not for girls.
If I played for girls, I wouldn't be playing delta blues or slide guitar.
If it means a lot to you don't bring it. My brother brought a cheaper acoustic to school rather than his more expensive electric because he didn't want anything happening to it (and he had his own room).
